Mr Conor Foy (BSc MSc IEMA) – Associate Partner / Environmental Engineer

Role within CD Consulting

Within CD I look after the environmental aspect of all our projects, identifying and assessing potential impacts and working out solutions. I also help manage our planning operations and deal with a range of clients on a daily basis on a wide number of project types. Increasingly there is a wider range of environmental aspects involved in all types of planning applications and my role within the team is ever evolving.

Career and Qualifications to-date

I obtained a BSc in Environmental Planning and a MSc in Environmental Engineering at Queens University Belfast graduating in 2008. I also hold a FETAC Certificate in On-site Waste Water Treatment for Single Dwellings and the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.

Outside of the office

I have a number of different interests but I particularly enjoy playing and watching all things GAA & watching most sports. I find local history and heritage very interesting and enjoy watching crime dramas.

Mr Declan Owens (BSc MSc MIPI) – Associate Partner / Planning Consultant

Role within CD Consulting

Within CDC I look after our planning activities.  This includes the preparation and compilation of planning application submissions as well as managing an existing workload of applications and appeals.  Having worked with a Local Planning Authority in NI for a number of years I have accrued a vast experience of the planning system in Northern Ireland and have a substantial knowledge base when it comes to NI planning policy and legislation.  Over the years I have also worked on a range of planning projects across ROI and I continue to be actively involved in renewable energy planning across Ireland.

Career and Qualifications to-date

I obtained a BSc in Environmental Planning and a MSc in Urban and Rural Design at Queens University Belfast graduating in 2009. I obtained full Corporate membership of the Irish Planning Institute in 2012 and a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety in 2016.

Outside of the office

I have a keen interest in sport and try to play some football when I can.  Outside of that I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
